The 26-gallon OEM tank in your Duramax isn’t enough for serious driving. Upgrade to the S&B Filters 10-1006, which more than doubles your capacity to 62 gallons without cutting, drilling, or modifications. It installs in under four hours and reuses your OEM sending unit for a seamless setup.
With a built-in sump, it’s ideal for aftermarket lift pumps—just follow the pump manufacturer’s instructions. However, the sump won’t fix the common “¼ tank issues” seen with some lift pumps.
Built from high-density cross-link polyethylene, S&B Tanks are a smart choice. Unlike metal tanks, they resist rust, corrosion, and condensation, while offering superior durability and resilience.
