Description

The 6.7 Cummins throttle valve works with the EGR system to re-circulate exhaust gas and lower emissions. However, on off-road performance diesels, it can be a liability.

Most Cummins owners overlook the factory throttle valve when deleting the EGR system. The valve adjusts the ratio of fresh intake air to re-circulated exhaust gases. Without the EGR system, closing the throttle valve cuts off the intake air, potentially shutting down the engine or causing severe damage at high RPMs. Additionally, even an unplugged stock throttle valve obstructs airflow. Avoid the risk of power loss or engine damage by addressing the throttle valve when deleting your EGR system.

  • Construction – Aluminum
  • Product Design – Aluminum tubing with full TIG welds and pressure tested
