Description
The PDR HX35 is a hybrid or modified turbo designed to replace existing turbos on 1999-2002 Dodge RAM diesels, recommended for stock trucks towing or up to 350hp. It features a larger compressor side pinwheel and precision-machined housings to match, allowing compatibility with various exhaust housings (12cm to 21cm) and retaining exhaust brake functionality. For higher horsepower, a 14cm wastegated housing and 4″ exhaust system are recommended. Specify truck year for correct wastegate actuator placement. Compatible with 2001-2002 automatics with HY35 turbos and older 1989-1993 Dodge RAM trucks with WH1 turbos, it improves throttle response, reduces turbo lag and smoke, lowers EGTs by up to 100 degrees, and cools quickly at shutdown.
