The Fleece FPE-DTFL-S3S4-0116 remote oil feed line provides a reliable solution for 2001-2016 Duramax engines by addressing issues with the factory turbo oil feed. The stock oil feed, which sources oil from the #4 cam journal bearing, can be restrictive and may even lead to oil blockages if the bearing slips, putting the turbo at risk. Fleece’s remote oil feed line bypasses this potential problem by feeding oil directly from the oil rifle on the engine block. This ensures a consistent, adequate oil supply to the turbo, preventing premature bearing failures and boosting overall reliability.
